Last tried this 2010 vintage in april 2017....
A big blustery version of Mourvedre that settles down and begins to showcase a bit of finesse after a couple of hours in the decanter.Interesting chalky minerality underlies the fruit forward attack. Finishes with hints of bittersweet cacao.
This will easily go another 10 years...
Paired pretty well with steak tacos...
