2001 Forman Cabernet Sauvignon

Drinking very nicely. Classic old school Napa Cabernet. Paired beautifully with steak tartare + grilled veggies followed by wood-fired porterhouse steaks.

2005 Domaine Camus-Bruchon 1er Cru Savigny-Narbantons

First experience with this producer ... palate on the darker cherry side with tasty sous bois character. Becomes more expansive, showing more on day 2 and day 3. Clean profile (no funkiness). 30% whole cluster. Shows the classicism of the vintage.

2012 Gosset Brut Grand Millésime

Our first go with Gosset. Beautifully made with pinot noir and chardonnay. No disgorgement date and no dosage listed, but is likely in the 5g/l to 8g/l range.

The elegant expression of fruit is immediately apparent.... Reminds me of the delightful balance found in Louis Roederer wines. Enjoyable now, but on the young side, with great potential for further development over the next 5 to 10 years.

Paired well with blackened catfish and etouffee

Sunday Brewskies

I prefer double IPA with lots of upfront hoppiness...🍺
This is an OK brewskie. Finish is somewhat muddled. Goes good with Orange Cream Cookies gummies 😊👍
